1. How We Use AI

Siraj integrates artificial intelligence to enhance the user experience across our platform. Our AI systems power job matching, course recommendations, CV analysis, and skill assessments. We are committed to using AI in a transparent, fair, and responsible manner that respects user privacy and promotes equal opportunity.

2. Job Matching Algorithm

Our job matching algorithm analyzes user profiles, skills, experience, and preferences to suggest relevant positions. The algorithm considers multiple factors including skill compatibility, location, seniority level, and industry. We continuously refine the algorithm to reduce bias and improve relevance. Job seekers can update their preferences to influence matching results.

3. Course Recommendations

Course recommendations are generated based on your learning history, career goals, skills gaps, and the behaviour of similar users. The system is designed to surface diverse learning opportunities and avoid creating echo chambers. You may dismiss or provide feedback on any recommendation to help us improve the system.

4. CV Analysis

Siraj uses AI to parse and analyze uploaded CVs to extract key information such as skills, experience, education, and certifications. This data is used to populate profiles, improve job matching, and provide skill gap insights. CV data is processed securely and is not used for purposes beyond those explicitly disclosed.

5. Fairness & Bias Prevention

We are committed to identifying and mitigating bias in our AI systems. Our fairness measures include:

  • Regular auditing of model outputs for demographic bias
  • Removal of sensitive attributes (e.g., gender, age, nationality) from matching criteria where possible
  • Diverse training data to represent the full spectrum of Saudi talent
  • Partnering with external reviewers for independent bias assessments

6. Human Oversight

All AI-generated outputs on Siraj are subject to human oversight. Critical decisions — such as account suspensions, content moderation, and fraud detection — are reviewed by trained staff. Our AI systems are designed to assist, not replace, human judgment. Users may request a human review of any AI-influenced decision.

7. Data Used for AI

Our AI models are trained on anonymized and aggregated platform data. Personal data used for AI features is governed by our Privacy Policy and the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL). We do not sell user data to third parties for AI training. Users may opt out of certain AI features as described below.

You have control over how AI is used in your Siraj experience:

  • Opt out of AI-powered job recommendations in account settings
  • Opt out of AI-based course recommendations in learning preferences
  • Request deletion of data used for AI model training
  • Provide feedback on AI suggestions to improve system accuracy

This AI Transparency & Fairness Policy will be updated as our AI capabilities evolve. We will notify users of material changes via email or platform notifications. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
